17 lawyers who ransacked the chamber of Islamabad High Court (IHC) Chief Justice Athar Minallah on Monday have been issued contempt of court notices.
Mob of lawyers had stormed into Islamabad High Court on Monday protesting the demolishment of their chambers by CDA. They had trapped Chief Justice Athar Minallah in his chamber, breaking its windows.
Lawyers charged with contempt of court include Advocates Ahsan Majeed Gujjar, Arbab Ayub Gujjar, Faiser Jadoon, Farzana Mughal, Hammad Dar, Naseer Kayani, Nazia Abbasi, Raja Zahid, Shaista Tabbasum, Yasmin Rashid Sindhu, Kulsoom Rafiq, Kamran Yusaf Zai, Hafiz Malik Mazhar Javed, Khalid Mehmood, Raja Amjad, Raja Farrukh and Tasadduq Hanif.
