Though not entirely making headlines, the country’s present prospects and future heroes are making audible noise.
Faizan Fayaz Wins Aspera FC Lightweight Champion
Last month, Pakistani fighter Faizan ‘The Hunter’ Fayaz made headlines after beating Philippines' Lyndon Castillo in a dominant fashion for the ASPERA FC Asia Lightweight belt. It was Faizan's superior wrestling that had him take control of the fight. He dedicated his victory to the people of Pakistan.
"This is for all the people of Pakistan, my coaches and my teams; Team Highlight Reel and KAKS Fight Club for all the support and InshaAllah, we will work towards further success," he said.
