Laal Kabootar has won another accolade as it bagged an award at the Tasveer South Asian Film Festival (TSAAF).
Last month, the film was selected as Pakistan’s official entry for the 92nd Oscars, to be held in February 2020. Moreover, the film’s lead, Ahmed Ali Akbar, has also won an award at the Washington DC South Asian Film Festival.
The managers of TSAFF aspire for the film festival to become one of USA’s largest South Asian film festivals. The festival has a mission to engage and educate people through ‘though-provoking films, stories, and issues from South Asia and its diaspora’.
