The Constitution is silent on the issue of reserved seats, and in such a case, the interpretation of the Constitution is open. If the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) does not get reserved seats, then the parties in the government coalition wouldn’t either. This matter has reached the international level, and the reserved seats will be given to the SIC. If this happens, there will be a huge crisis in Parliament. The Prime Minister will have to take a vote of confidence, and the legitimacy of the President will also be questioned.
