Senior journalist and anchor Arshad Sharif reportedly tortured reporter/vlogger Siddique Jan over a dispute in Gwadar. Several journalists are currently present in the port city of Gwadar on account of Prime Minister Imran Khan's visit.
As per reports, Arshad Sharif along with his colleagues Adeel Raja and others, beat up Siddique Jan and also broke his mobile phone. He was allegedly punched repeatedly by Sharif and his colleagues.
Siddique and Sharif had been engaging in a war of words on social media, which has now resulted in a physical fight.
Meanwhile, a number of politicians and journalists took to Twitter to condemn Sharif's alleged act. #ArrestArshadSharif has been trending on Pakistan Twitter with users urging the authorities to take action against the journalist.

Siddique Jan did not immediately respond to Naya Daur Media's request for comment.
