Bushra Ansari has released a rap song urging the two neighboring countries, India and Pakistan to strive for peace. Relations between the two countries have been tense since the Pulwama attack on February 14. In the track titled Humsaye Maa Jaye, Bushra along with sister Asma Abbas, performs a duet reminding everyone of the similarities that Indians and Pakistanis share.
In the video Bushra and Asma play Indian and Pakistani neighbours respectively, who are kept apart by a wall covered with spiked glass wedges. The witty lyrics suggest that the average Pakistani and Indian want peace but politics and jingoism keeps them apart.
This is the first video that has been uploaded on Bushra Ansari's YouTube account. 'Music video that goes beyond war and borders to the hearts of people living so close, and yet so far away,' the video description reads.
