Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief Maulana Fazal ur Rehman has announced that the opposition parties will be marching to Islamabad on March 26. He also said that in the upcoming senate elections, opposition will field joint candidates to ensure a win against the incumbent government.
He further said that PDM will not accept the government’s open bill under the 26th amendment act.
PDM had demanded the resignation the incumbent prime minister and given him the deadline of December. However, nothing came out of that threat. When asked about this, Rehman told the reporters to be “patient” and wait till after the senate elections.
