Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Khurram Sherzaman has sought a complete ‘political ban’ on the Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) for ‘harming the masses’.
In a video on Twitter, the PTI lawmaker was heard saying that the PPP has always harmed the people which was it was better to get rid of the party entirely.
According to the MPA, the PPP ‘deserves to be banned as in his opinion the sole mission of the party was to hurt people’.
This is not the first time that PTI leadership has lashed out at the PPP that is power in Sindh. In past, there were certain heated exchanges between PPP minister and PTI lawmakers over governance issues in the province, specifically Karachi.
Last month, PTI vice president Haleem Adil Sheikh had said that the Sindh government led by PPP had turned the megacity of Karachi into ruins.
In his speech on the floor of the Sindh Assembly on Thursday, he had said his constituency -- PS-99 that mainly comprises informal settlements and villages in the city’s suburbs -- was being especially targeted.
