Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda has abused journalist Umar Cheema on Twitter. The minister called him a used ‘tissue paper’ of Jang group’s Editor-in-Chief Mir Shakil-ur-Rehman while reminding the journalist of his abduction.
Umar Cheema posted a tweet calling out National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for not initiating an inquiry against the Faisal Vawda despite documented evidences against him.

In response to the tweet, the minister reminded the journalist of his abduction while calling him a used ‘tissue paper’ of MSR. He said: “Earlier, the public shaved your head for what you are doing right now,” he added.

On Monday, Faisal Vawda referred to journalist Cyril Almeida as ‘joker’ during a Twitter spat. Firstly, the journalist referred to the minister as ‘Clown Vawda’ and quoted him in a tweet as saying that the ruling party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) needs at least two to three five-year terms to ‘fix’ all the problems of Pakistan.
