The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has warned employees against a malware attack through a notification issued by the Additional Registrar (IT).
According to the notification, Windows 10 and 7 systems are under threat of being attacked by the malware 'Ransomware'.
Ransomware can attack clients, networks, servers and even block access to files. It asks for ransom to allow you access to the data. It spreads through emails, websites and USBs.
In order to avoid its spread, the notification has advised against browsing unnecessary websites, using unofficial USBs, opening suspicious emails and from downloading plugins. It also advised to back up official data and ti use local networks to share sensitive information.
