Jamaat ud Dawa (Jud) leader Hafiz Saeed was reportedly present inside his residence at the time of the blast in Lahore's Johar Town last week.
While speaking to Dawn News during the show Zarra hut Ke, journalist Azaz Syed said that the prison department keeps changing Hafiz Saeed's location since he is a high value target. The jail superintendent has the authority to declare a place sub-jail and move the prisoner there. He quoted sources as saying that Hafiz Saeed was target of the blast and was present inside his home when the incident took place. His family denies these claims, but Azaz Syed was certain that the JuD leader was inside his home at the time of the blast.
Three people were killed while several others sustained injuries in a blast in Johar Town, Lahore last Wednesday. Chief Minister Usman Buzdar revealed on Monday that a hostile agency was involved in the incident, adding that all those involved were identified and arrested.
