Lifestyle London held a colourful and diverse cultural fashion event this weekend at the Institute of Directors, Pall Mall.
The event hosted top designers from various backgrounds including Pakistan’s Maheen Khan, who dressed the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton during her recent official tour of Pakistan.
Newcomer Amira Prestige showcased rich traditional Moroccan bridal wear and extravagant formal wear. Naika revealed heritage runway looks, traditional Bengali saris and bespoke jewellery from the region. Celebrity Pakistani model, Fozia Aman, walked the ramp along with Bollywood star Giorgia Adriani.
Adnan Ansari, founder and creative director for Riwayat is a strong advocate of art and bringing together different communities through cultural immersion. “Fashion has it’s own language, and is without borders. Riwayat has proudly updated our vision through events and fashion shows represented as Lifestyle London. We want to create more synergy, awareness and appreciation of the rich diverse craftsmanship from various regions, for everyone to enjoy," he stated.
RDC fashion's new season bridal collection was beautifully updated with a modern take on classic formal wear.
Shows held during the two-day event were sold-out events. Guests were treated to a series of cultural art performances. Wahab Shah, renowned Pakistani international artist performed with the Sujata Banerjee Dance Company London based dance company.
