'Aangan' hits TV screen, unveils a new era of dramas in Pakistan
HUM TV's most awaited drama serial of 2018 Aangan has finally hit the tv screens, making a promising start with its first episode on Thursday, December 20. It seems that Aangan definitely will raise the curtain from the regular and typical societal-issue based drama series in Pakistan.

The partition-based drama is a reflection of the society back in 1940s and how being a poet was a huge deal. With a cast to die for, Aangan features Sajal Ali, Ahad Raza Mir, Ahsan Khan, Mawra Hocane, Sonia Hussyn, Hira Mani, Abid Ali and other brilliant actors in this amazingly outdone direction.

Writer and Director Ehteshamuddin's play is a beautiful visual depiction of Khadija Mastoor's award-winning novel and according to experts and critics, it just might be an unmatchable production in the years to come.

The TV serial is absolutely a reflection of perfection, from its cast, sets, plotting, story, characters, makeup, dresses, music to acting... simply PERFECT! The story revolves around the perspective of women and the experiences during the time of partition.

Well, the story will unveil only with time but for now, it can be said without any doubt that Aangan will definitely raise and uplift our drama industry, breaking the typical chain of Saas-Bahu stories of domestic violence and helpless weak women being victimized in our male-dominated patriarchal society all the time, this one will change the perspective of dramas.

People have high expectations from HUM TV as Aangan sets to entertain people of all ages and walks of life. We wish all the best to the cast and director and hope the tv serial gains all the success it deserves.
