Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that he does not fear the army because he is not involved in financial misdoing or corruption and works 'day and night'.
He expressed these views while talking to journalist during an informal meeting a few days ago. "The government is going nowhere. Those who are engaged in corruption fear the military", he said.
Claiming that there is no difference between his government and the military, he said the army was standing with him, adding that the security agencies know that he was working hard day and night for the country.
During the meeting, he had also stated that Maulana Fazlur Rehman should be tried for high treason over his statement that he was assured that Imran would step down at the time of JUI-F's anti-government Azadi March.
