Nawaz shared a picture of himself wearing an Oxford sweatshirt on Twitter.
He said: “The terrorists shot me and brutality attacked my school to stop us from getting an education 5 years ago. Today I’m proud to share that I have secured a place in Oxford.”
According to Nawaz, he has chosen Philosophy and Theology as major subjects at the university.
At least 144 people, mostly students, were killed in an attack on the army-run school in Peshawar. The responsibility of the attack was claimed by the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan.
A commission formed to probe the attack in 2018 has submitted its report to the Supreme Court last month.
