Singer Atif Aslam has received a tax notice worth Rs58 million by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
Express Tribune reported that the tax notice of 58 million was allegedly sent to musician Atif Aslam after his 2018 income was audited.
The singer has been given a month’s extension to pay his dues. If however, he fails to pay the dues by the allotted time his bank accounts will be frozen and FBR will then itself collect the tax from his frozen accounts.
Atif Aslam is not the only artist who has come under the radar of FBR. Singer Rabat Fateh Ali Khan was also sent a tax notice back In October 2020.
