Popular drama serials Dhoop Kinare and Tanhaiyaan will be aired in Saudi Arabia, Arab News reports. Dhoop Kinare will air in June, while Tanhaiyaan’s airing date has not yet been officially announced.
“We have selected two very popular dramas, Dhoop Kinare and Tanhaiyaan, for Arabic subtitles,” Shahzia Sikander, Director International Relations at Pakistan Television, informed the publication. “We will be able to send Dhoop Kinare to Saudi Arabia by June this year.”
“This is the first time that Pakistan Television is subtitling Pakistani drama into Arabic for Saudi viewers,” she added.
Both Dhoop Kinare and Tanhaiyaan are widely regarded as cult classics produced during the golden age of Pakistan television industry.
