Pakistan Slams Israel's Attack On Worshipers In Al Aqsa Mosque
Pakistan has issued a statement strongly condemning the Israeli forces' attacks on worshippers in Al Aqsa that injured several people. Foreign Office Spokesman Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry, in a statement released today (Saturday), said that these attacks especially during Ramzan violated humanitarian norms as well as human rights laws.

Praying for the speedy recovery of the injured, the FO said that Pakistan would continue to support the Palestinian cause. The FO spokesman also called on the international community to protect the Palestinian people from violence.

Israeli police on Friday fired rubber bullets and stun grenades at Palestinian youth while they were hurling rocks at Jerusalem's Al-Aqsa Mosque. 205 worshipers and 17 officers sustained injuries in the clash. Thousands of Palestinians clashes with several Israeli police personnel in riot gear.
