Two Women SC Judges Gunned Down In Afghanistan
In yet another act of violence, two female Supreme Court judges were gunned down by unidentified individuals in Kabul, Afghanistan.

The ambush on the two female judges, who were driving to work, came only two days after United States lowered the number of troops in Afghanistan to an all time low. As of yet no extremist group has taken responsibility. However, it is being speculated that the Taliban might be behind the murders.

The Taliban have denied any involvement.

The murders of the judges are part of the rising trend of targeted killings of high profile individuals including activists, journalist, judges due to increased violence in the area. In the past few months a number of assassinations have taken place in Afghanistan, some of which were claimed by ISIS.
