On his way back home to his village in North Waziristan, a doctor was shot dead by unidentified individuals. The incident took place at around 10 pm on Friday on Mir Ali Bypass Road.
The doctor was identified as Dr Waliullah Dawar. He was a professor at Bannu Medical College.
The police in its investigation also found out that Dawar every week on Sundays and Saturdays used to go to Mir Ali to treat his patients. He was heading home after work when he was gunned down.
The suspects ran away and there hasn’t been any other development in the investigation regarding their arrests.
