Kuwait Recruits Health Workers From Pakistan To Fight Second Coronavirus Wave
As Kuwait prepares for a potential second wave of Covid, it is all set to recruit health workers from Pakistan and other countries. Kuwait recently relaxed the Covid restrictions but it fears another wave of coronavirus. The country has reported 84,224 cases and 528 deaths from the virus.

Gulf News reported that the health ministry will ask for assistance of health workers specialised in pulmonary diseases from foreign countries. The first batch of these doctors and nurses will come from Pakistan and will arrive 'in the next few weeks' as soon as the formalities are completed. The report further said that Kuwait has previously recruited medical workers from Cuba and Jordan.
