Imambargahs In Karachi Open Doors To Affectees Of Rainfall

Amid torrential rains that have submerged most parts of the metropolis, flooding homes and streets alike, Imambargahs in Karachi have opened their doors across the city to 'anyone and everyone' in need of shelter from rain and warm food.

A list of the Imambargahs being shared on social media includes Imambargah Akhiruz Zamaan near Harmain Towers, Johar Morr and Shareekatul Hussain Imambargah near PIA Academy in Basera Tower, Gulistan-e-Johar among others. "Rizvia & Babul Ilm Imambargahs are the two places I know in Nazimabad and North Nazimabad who're offering food and shelter, shared a twitter user.

This was also shared by Saman Jafri, a former lawmaker and a media expert.

There was also an appeal to help the people taking shelter at these Imambargahs.
