South Waziristan Teen Achieves Guinness World Record For Most Helicopter Spins

ISLAMABAD: Eleven-year-old Daniyal Mehsood, a martial artist from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s South Waziristan district, has registered his name in the Guinness Book of World Record for most helicopter spins in one minute.

Daniyal Mehsood, a grade sixth student, did 78 helicopter spins in one minute. He was informed about his record through an email to his instructor, Irfan Mehsood, on July 23. Daniyal attempted this milestone on November 24, 2019, in Dera Ismail Khan.

“The most helicopter spins is one minute (breakdance) is 78 and was achieved by Daniyal Mehsood in Dera Ismail Khan, Pakistan on 24 November 2019,” states the email received by Irfan Mehsood.

Daniyal is very happy with his achievement and gives all credit to his instructor and parents for this milestone.

The young boy says this achievement is a result of his constant practice and hard work of his trainer. He said he will continue his journey towards success.

"Daniyal was visiting his native village, Makeen, when I informed his elder brother on phone about his record, and the very next day he returned to his academy," said Daniyal’s instructor Irfan Mehsood.

According to the instructor, Daniyal is one of his brilliant students and his encouragement and support will remain with him for the future.
