Senate Human Rights Committee has summoned the Islamabad police chief to brief the committee on the abduction of senior journalist Matiullah Jan after the latter was abducted by unknown people from Islamabad's G-6 Sector.
In a tweet, Committee's Chairman Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar said: "As a matter of grave urgency and unquestionable importance, IG Islamabad has been asked to brief the Human Rights committee tomorrow on abduction/disappearance of renowned journalist Matiullah Jan."
