PM Imran Calls Narendra Modi ‘Coward’ For Imposing Coronavirus Lockdown
Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday termed Indian premier Narendra Moda a ‘coward’ for announcing strict nation-wide lockdown to counter the spread of the fatal coronavirus.

PM Imran, while addressing a conference at COMSTECH Institute, said that the Indian prime minister didn’t even think of the poor masses, while announcing the lockdown. “Narendra Modi turned out to be a coward who shut down the whole country because of the pandemic,” the premier said.

The PM said that it was the power elite that decided to impose a lockdown in Pakistan. He said that the government would provide protective gear to all the doctors and health care workers fighting the pandemic at frontlines. The prime minster said that government hospitals can’t be well-equipped unless the ministers use them for their own treatments.

“It took us one and half year to save the country from being defaulted. We will provide a vision for the nation’s progress, and that vision will be for everyone especially for the downtrodden,” he added. The premier questioned, “Can a country with nuclear weapons not design medical ventilators?”

PM Imran also appreciated Minister for Science and Technology Chaudhry Fawad Hussain and his team for their ‘remarkable’ performance.
