Maryam Nawaz Should Be Allowed To Join Nawaz Sharif In London On Humanitarian Grounds: Shehbaz Sharif
The PML-N’s Shehbaz Sharif, the Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly, has taken the view that Maryam Nawaz is being prevented from taking care of her father former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
Shehbaz Sharif revealed that due to the absence of Maryam Nawaz from her father’s side in London, cardiologists treating the former PM have already changed the date for procedures twice. In light of this, the Leader of the Opposition made the argument that on humanitarian grounds, Maryam Nawaz ought to be permitted to be with her father.
Vice President of the PML-N Maryam Nawaz has been trying to get permission to join her father in London, but the government has chosen to retain her on the Exit Control List (ECL) in the context of the Al Azizia Steel Mills reference.
Furthermore, on the 14th of January, the federal cabinet placed her name on the ECL in the context of the Chaudhry Sugar Mills.
