A man has killed his young sister-in-law over property dispute in Lahore on Wednesday. The police have said that the accused fled the crime scene after the murder.
According to police, the man in the Sanda town near the Lahore killed his sister-in-law, when she had allegedly refused to transfer her property to him. He had been pressurising her to hand over the house's ownership to him since some time but shot her dead when she declined following a heated argument, police added.
After killing his sister-in-law, the suspect fled the crime scene and has since been absconding. “We have set up a team to search for and arrest the accused,” police said. They added that body was shifted to a local hospital for post-mortem.
