Sarmad Khoosat Says Receiving Threats To Withdraw 'Zindagi Tamasha'
Filmmaker and actor Sarmad Khoosat has said that he is being threatened against releasing his upcoming film 'Zindagi Tamasha'. "Getting dozens of threatening phone calls and messages," he tweeted along with an open letter to his fans and 'beloved Pakistanis'.

In the letter, Khoosat clarifies that the film was not made to hurt, offend or malign anyone and that it has no mention of a sect, party or faction of any sort. He went on to say that the film was cleared by three censor boards and the authorities did not find any objectionable material in it.

Referring to a religious group's call to hold protest against the film, the filmmaker said that he did not want citizens' businesses or routine lives disrupted in the name of 'just a film'. He then asks his fans whether he should release the film under such conditions.
