Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Bajwa has said that there would never be a compromise on Kashmir and that the armed forces were prepare to thwart any aggression against the country.
The army chief made these comments during a visit to the Line of Control, where he addressed the soldiers on duty.
According to a tweet by the director general of Inter-services Public Relations (DG ISPR), the army chief told troops that Pakistan’s pursuit of peace should not be mistaken for weakness.
The army chief said that there would never be a compromise on Kashmir, adding that they (the armed forces) were fully capable and prepared to thwart any misadventure/aggression for the defence of the motherland.
