Although the procession was huge and Maryam kept on addressing her workers, the majority of the TV channels censored her rally and also the speeches. In one of her tweets, Maryam pointed it out too.

She asked the audience more than once about whether they had watched the video in question?

Maryam went on to call the Prime Minister by the word 'Selected'. The said word was barred in the parliament by the Deputy Speaker's ruling and lawmakers were not allowed to use it. Opposition members, on the other hand, challenged the legality of Speaker's ruling.

"Give your resignation! Go home!" added Maryam, asking the prime minister to tender his resignation as the 'government has failed' to solve the issues at hand.

In one of her tweets, she mentioned how there was no stage, no planned rally but only the public that was there to see her. The day before, local administration had disallowed PML-N to hold a gathering in the requested venue amid rainfall while PML-N leaders had mentioned that the administration had intentionally diverted rainwater towards the said venue.
