It is interesting to note that the rally coming from Balochistan is bigger than the one from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Moreover, JUI-F’s caravan on its way to Peshawar will be led by Maulana Ataur Rehman when it crosses Peshawar. It will then proceed to Nowshera, where it will be joined by caravans from Swat and Charsadda. From Nowshera, the Azadi March participants would reach Islamabad via Tarnol.
Maulana Lutfur Rehman, who is Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s brother, told Naya Daur that 500,000 people would be participating in the Azadi March from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He added that National Party’s Dr Abdul Malik Baloch was also among the participants.
Meanwhile, the administration of the federal capital territory has blocked roads, some temporarily, others permanently.
Furthermore, JUI-F’s chief has refuted reports of the party’s public meeting in Islamabad being postponed. While addressing the gathering at Gujar Khan, Maulana Fazlur Rehman stated that the party would make all the decisions regarding the march. JUI-F leader, Abdul Ghaffor Haideri said regarding the reports of the delay that rumours were being spread about the Azadi March.
