Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) YouTubers are disseminating fake news to keep the hope of party workers alive, and there is no reality in the posts circulating on social media regarding a deal between Bushra Bibi, wife of PTI chief Imran Khan, and the establishment.

Senior journalist Muzamal Suharwardy said that rumors are also circulating that Bushra Bibi met an envoy from an Arab country to discuss the release of his husband. He added that in the contemporary situation, no foreign country will request Pakistan to forgive those involved in the May 9 riots.

Suharwardy said that PTI senior leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi also conducted meetings with envoys of several countries after the arrest of PTI chief Imran Khan, but soon he was arrested too. He said that it does not matter whether the meetings are being held or not; the fact is that no country will offer help in this regard.

While talking about the hearing of the cipher case held in Attock Jail, he said that it is indeed a good step to address the security concerns of Khan, adding that PTI chief Imran Khan should be thankful to the caretaker government for this.

He said that PTI chief Imran Khan always tried to give the impression that his life was in danger, and he took multiple adjournments on these grounds.

He further said that PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s legal team filed a plea against their client’s trial in jail, adding that it was an attempt to prolong the trial and nothing else.

Suharwardy said that PTI chief Imran Khan will not get bail in the cipher case; in fact, there will be a swift trial in the aforementioned case. He said that PTI Chairman Imran Khan will remain in jail for as long as a number of cases have been lodged against him.
