Student Leader 'Abducted' From Home For Attending Solidarity Protest For Arrested Islamabad Activists
Six armed policemen, and three men in plain clothes picked up Mohsin Abdali from his home in Mughalpura around 4 am in the morning. They did not state any charge, or the reason why he was being investigated.

The men, claiming to be law enforcement personnel, verbally abused Mohsin's parents and took away his laptop. The family was not told in which police station an FIR about his detention could be found.

Mohsin Abdali is an MPhil student of Punjab University. He was recently involved in organising Student Solidarity March and Climate March. His last public appearance was at a demonstration organised for the release of progressive activists who were arrested in Islamabad.

Activists and human rights defenders condemned the move and expressed concern for Mohsin's safety. This is a developing story and will be updated.

Supporters on social media are using the hashtag #ReleaseMohsinAbdali.
