Number Of Critical Care Covid Patients In Pakistan Now 57% Higher Than June Last Year

National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) head Asad Umar has said that the number of critical care Covid patients requiring oxygen in Pakistan is now 57 per cent higher than it was in June last year.
Asad Umar posted a series of tweet explaining the current state of oxygen production and its supply and availability in the country for Covid patients.

He said that the number of critical Covid patient in Pakistan currently stands at 5,360.

Pakistan had at least 131 more deaths from the virus in the last 24 hours, as per the NCOC. 5,112 new positive cases were recorded after 49,099 tests. The positivity ratio is 10.41%.
