Kuwait Airways posted a series of tweet in this regard and clarified that the news being circulated on media that the airline has terminated the services of Pakistani pilots isn’t true. The clarification noted that currently no Pakistani pilot is an employee of Kuwait Airways.

“Although there are 13 Pakistani engineers employed in the airlines who hold the educational qualifications accredited by the international safety and maintenance organisations.”
On Sunday, The Express Tribune reported that Kuwait Airways had initiated probe against the Pakistani employees.
“According to the sources, Kuwait Air has grounded seven Pakistani pilots and 56 engineers, while Qatar Airways, Oman Air and Vietnam Airlines have compiled lists of Pakistani pilots, engineers and ground-handling staff. They said that the employees whose names are on the lists will remain grounded till a report is received from the Pakistani authorities,” the newspaper reported.
