Stealing of electoral mandate this time would lead to dire consequences: Sardar Akhtar Mengal

People made to join alliances by force will follow the wind: Ex Balochistan CM

Baloch National Party (BNP) chief and former Chief Minister of Balochistan Sardar Akhtar Mengal has said that intruders have begun to maneuver electoral process. Any effort of stealing the mandate from parties like 2013 would certainly lead to dire consequences. He says that they are trying to form a vast political alliance. The birth of ‘test tube party’, the pressure on political workers to join other parties and their harassment and to set the ranks for the victory of their favorite candidate are a few examples of electoral intrigues. “We are taking part in elections to redeem the misery, and to end the backwardness of Balochistan, defending its rights through democratic process”, says Mengal. “Untiring efforts of determined JUI and BNP activists have strengthened the base of these two parties in Jhalawan area”, says the ex-Chief Minister Balochistan, These parties are not haphazardly formed. The parties which have no committed activities are called disorganized mobs, and they always follow the wind, he asserted.

Extremists forced Baloch youths to rebel: Bizenjo

Their stupidity has caused fire of dissidence in the province. This is alienating the people of Balochistan. We cooled down this fire and urged people to return to the national ambit: Mir Hasil Bizenjo

‘The stupidity of the people who injected extremism in the issue of Balochistan, inciting the youth to dissidence, has made the province a smoking volcano’, says Mr Bizenjo. He further stated, “Our critics and abusers should acknowledge our commitment how we cooled down this fire and brought these youth home. The people who want to end our role in Balochistan politics are mad. National Party has political power whose foundations were laid by our elders’, the leader of National Party claims. ‘To utilize resources and shores of Balochistan’ says Bizenjo, ‘we need to educate our new generation. Revolutionary steps are needed to eradicate illiteracy from Balochistan. Medical colleges and university campus established in Khuzdar and Loralai will provide boys and girls of Balochistan with opportunities to get higher education’.

Pakistan is our Motherland. We have never been in collusion with any hostile country: Mehmood Achakzai

May Allah guide our detractors: Chairman ‎Pashtunkhwa-Milli Awami Party

Addressing a public gathering in Lala Taj football ground, Chairman ‎Pashtunkhwa-Milli Awami Party, Mehmood Khan Achakzai, said, ‘Pashtuns are being killed for the last 40 years. Their blood is being spilled ruthlessly. War imposed on Pashtuns has no parallel in human history. Nonetheless, Pashtuns are determined to eliminate hostile forces’. ‘Pk-MAP has been accused of compromising the interests of the country for some money’, said Achakzai, ‘The money which undermines the country is a venomous trade. Pakistan is our motherland; it provides us and values us. We want the enemy who is propagating against us to know this reality, and keep in mind that we can also respond in equal terms. Don’t consider us weak’, he challenged. He further warned, ‘Presently, Pakistan is facing a perilous situation. The only way to safeguard it is provision of justice. Our society was weaponized. We want to tell armed men that we have faced Ayub Khan, Ziaul Haq and Musharraf, so you are no threat to us. At the same time, we request the institutions not to interfere in elections, because you have nothing to do with politics, nor is there any role for you.’ He goes on to say, ‘It is not the Pakistan of 1970. We are not anti-Pakistan. Unfortunately, justice is hard to seek in this country.’

Akhtar Mengal is befooling the people in the name of nationalism: Nawab Sanaullah Zehri

Elections are going to feature a duel between the Right and the Wrong: Ex-CM Balochistan

Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader, and former Chief Minister (CM) of Balochistan, Nawab Sanaullah Zehri has said that elections are going to feature a duel between the Right and the Wrong. He goes on to say, ‘Sardar Akhtar Mengal has always hidden himself behind Jamiat. Such are the leaders who allowed the establishment to thrive and cultivate them for the last 40 years. On ‘no-confidence motion’, Akhtar Mengal signed right after Abdul Quddus Bizenjo. Now everything is clear before people.’ Ex-CM says, ‘We are democratic people, we have always strived for the supremacy of the constitution, democracy and politics. But the people, who call themselves nationalists, are not nationalists but they are exploiting nationalistic notions to hoodwink the masses. To be a nationalist doesn’t mean to support establishment and use its crutches to win the public office.’ Mr Zehri says: It is a decisive moment. People should reject the evil forces. On one hand, JUI has enjoyed four ministries in the Federal Government; while on the other hand, it validated no-confidence motion against my government. These days, Sardar Akhtar Mengal is trying to get votes, masking himself as Jamiat’s exponent.

We are against clash of institutions. All should work within their limits: Pashtunkhwa-Milli Awami Party

Provincial leaders of Pashtunkhwa-Milli Awami Party (Pk-MAP) have said that they are working out a plan for electoral alliance and cooperation with political, democratic and patriotic parties for 2018 elections. They say, ‘It is the duty of all democratic and patriotic parties of the country to thwart the path of undemocratic forces and to defeat them.’ The leaders of Pk-MAP claim, ‘Our party has always stood by democratic forces in the fight against undemocratic forces, and we are against breeding hatred on lingual, ethnic and sectarian grounds. It will challenge imperial powers and exploiters. It will never tolerate violation of our rights. Pk-MAP is against clash of institutions. All the institutions should work within their constitutional mandate. If they step out, then the reaction of political and democratic parties would be logical.’
