Saudi Arabia and China are both comfortable with Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PMLN) and its leader Nawaz Sharif while the Qatari royal family also feels the same.

These countries are not willing to work with Imran Khan. Meanwhile, Nawaz Sharif has been having meetings with the representatives of what many call the international establishment and it is highly likely that he will become the next prime minister of Pakistan in result of a deal brokered by these countries, claims journalist Asad Ali Toor.

In a recent vlog on Youtube, the journalist claimed that a few months back, Saudi Arabia’s national security advisor had met Nawaz Sharif in London on his way back from the United States. This meeting was reportedly held during the month of Ramzan, and it was followed up with another meeting between Nawaz Sharif and some people from the ‘British establishment’, revealed Asad Toor.

Now, he says, Nawaz Sharif has met a close aide of Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman in London and it was due to this meeting that Shehbaz Sharif had rushed to London last week, only 24 hours after returning home on an eight-hour long flight.

Toor believes that Saudi Arabia will be playing a key role in the coming political set up, investing something between 10 and 25 billion dollars, based on a number of reports. They will only invest if, Toor says, Nawaz Sharif and his PMLN come to power as a result of the elections.

He also says that China, UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia are all backing Nawaz Sharif and normally elections go in favour of the party that they support.

In August 2020, the-then foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, in an outburst that left the viewers and policymakers across the region bewildered, had slammed Saudi Arabia for failing to come to Pakistan's help on the Indian Occupied Kashmir.

In an ultimatum to Saudi Arabia, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that Pakistan will have to look for other options if the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation doesn't come forward in support of its stance on Kashmir.

The foreign minister made these remarks on a TV show.

Qureshi said that OIC that is led by Saudi Arabia should decide if it wanted to stand with Pakistan on such a sensitive issue, as Pakistan can't wait for Saudi support anymore. He said Pakistan skipped Malaysia summit though with a 'heavy heart' due to Saudi Arabia's reservations, so now it was time for Saudis to step forward.

He also said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoyed good ties and 'Pakistanis were do anything to for the protection of Madina and Mecca'.
