Those who met the premier included the MNAs from the minority community, namely Lal Chand Malhi, Shunila Ruth, James Thomas, Dr Ramesh Vankwani, and Jai Prakash Ukrani.
On the occasion, the delegation also discussed the issues being faced by them. They felicitated the efforts of the law enforcement agencies and the government for maintaining law and order in the country. They added that terrorists target the people on the basis of their faith, which is condemnable.
In terms of the official procedure, a summary of the approval will be sent to the finance ministry, followed by a start to the construction of the temple.
Meanwhile, the members of the minority said the population of the community in the federal capital has increased to 3,000. According to them, many members of the community decided to move to the capital after a spike in attacks against the faith in Sindh and Balochistan. With the building of the temple, they hoped that they would have a safe place to practice their faith and carry out rituals.
