Opposition parties have recorded their protest in Twitter against the alleged rigging in the 2018 general elections that saw Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government rose to power.

#July25BlackDay and #TabahiKay2Saal, two anti-government campaign, are trending on Twitter.

PPP Information Secretary Nafisa Shah said the 'electoral engineering project' is a threat to foundations of democracy.

PPP Senator Sherry Rehman listed the failures of the Imran government over the two years.

PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal said the country was making progress, but elections were allegedly rigged to bring in a government that ruined everything.

PPP's Sharjeel Memon criticised PM Imran Khan over various scandals in these two years.

Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) chief Aftab Sherpao questioned the delay in the probe into the rigging allegations.

The PTI led by Imran Khan stood victorious after general elections on July 25 in 2018. Opposition parties had alleged pre-poll rigging and lack of level-playing and linked the victory of the ruling PTI to massive rigging. A committee formed to probe these allegations has yet to conclude its investigations.
