Trump Praises Pakistan While Addressing Rally Alongside Modi

President United States Donald Trump, while delivering a speech on his visit to India, praised US ‘very good’ relations with Pakistan. President Trump has announced a whopping $3 billion arms deal with India to strengthen ties with the host country.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed President Donald Trump at the Ahmedabad stadium, in the presence of almost 1 lakh people. US president in his speech said, “I believe the United States should be India's premier defense partner, and that's the way it's working out.”

President Trump also termed Pak-US relations ‘very good’ in front of Narendra Modi and cheering crowd of India.

Indian PM Modi called President Trump ‘good friend’ repeatedly in his welcoming speech. The US president also noted that his administration has positive ties with Pakistan as the two countries try to combat terrorism on the Pakistani border. “Our relationship with Pakistan is a very good one. Thanks to these efforts, we are beginning to see signs of big progress with Pakistan,” the president said.

The US president arrived in India on Monday for his first 2-day visit to the country since he has come in power.
