Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) president Shahbaz Sharif on Wednesday complained about the establishment’s decision to ‘fully support’ Prime Minister Imran Khan.

According to a report in Dawn, Shahbaz Sharif made these comments while addressing a group of PML-N legislators at his residence in Model Town, who had gathered to discuss the party’s preparations for ‘Azadi March’.

During the meeting, Shahbaz Sharif said that the government of Imran khan was failing to deliver even though it had 100 percent support of the institutions, while PML-N had not even received 10 percent support.

He expressed surprise over the kind of support that Imran Khan’s government was receiving, terming it as exemplary in the history of Pakistan.

He added that had the PML-N been given such a support, Pakistan would have progressed by ‘leaps and bounds’.

The PML-N leader further criticised Imran Khan as being arrogant and having no vision to address the country’s issues, adding that Khan came to power through rigging.

Shahbaz Sharif stated to his party’s members from Punjab that if they wanted to defeat the issues plaguing the country, they had to reach Islamabad on October 31 and give a befitting reply to Imran Khan.

The PML-N president also stated that they would present their demands upon reaching Islamabad. He further asked the participants to mobilise party workers for a ‘big show’ in Islamabad.
