Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Babar Iftikhar said that India has failed in its tireless efforts of linking the coronavirus around the world to Muslims.

In a press conference held in Rawalpindi, on Thursday, the DG ISPR said, “At a time when the the entire world is battling the coronavirus pandemic, extremists in India have proved that the country is promoting Hindutva and saffron terrorism".

He has also alleged the Indian army for propagating a ‘false’ propaganda narrative through the media channels, of which, they were unsuccessful.

In the recent past, the Indian army chief General MM Naravane had blamed Pakistan for ‘exporting terror’ amidst the global pandemic that coronavirus has caused, while according to him, India was trying to help the infection and prevent the spread of it.

To these allegations, DG ISPR said that these blames were a "reflection of India's internal failures and increasing frustrations and demoralisations".

He also indicated that the racial hatred India had spread in Kashmir has come back to spread violence in the rest of the country.
