At a press conference held in Nowshera he said that he had never demanded an election ticket for his son Ahad Khattak for PK-63. However, he said that he was only interested in getting a ticket for his son so he could contest in the elections.
Khattak further said that there has been interference within his ministry which is why he asked the secretary irrigation to inform Chief Minister Mahmood Khan but he did not receive a response.
He further alleged that as they get ignored by PTI, many of PTI workers, former nazims and councillors have voted for PML-N candidate instead of PTI’s.
Khattak added that he has immense respect for his ‘elder brother’, Defence Minister Pervez Khattak. He said that both his brother and Imran Khan are trying to eradicate corruption from the country
