ICC Awards 2018: Muhammad Abbas makes Test XI

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced list of 2018's award winners and only one Pakistani has made it.

Pacer Muhammad Abbas was named in the ICC Test XI, stamping Pakistan's only appearance among the world's best in 2018.

And Pakistanis are extremely happy

The Pakistani pacer has had a mesmerizing 2018 season. In 7 Test matches played, he took 38 wickets at an average of 13.76.

He also took 3 5-wicket hauls and one 10-wicket haul, and that has got him into the prestigious ICC World XI for Tests.

Abbas took 38 wickets in 2018



No other Pakistani has made it to the big awards this year.

On the other hand, Indian skipper Virat Kohli has made a clean sweep. He has become the first player to win the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for cricketer of the year, the Test player of the year and the ICC men's ODI player of the year.

He has also made it to the ICC Test and ODI teams of the year.
