A video of Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan Zulfi Bukhari, saying that Imran Khan has tested negative for coronavirus, has been removed from the official Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Instagram account.

Sayed Zulfiqar Bukhari, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development was saying in the video that the PM has tested negative and that Bukhari was grateful that he didn’t have to tell Imran Khan who to meet or not to meet.

The video was shared on Wednesday afternoon.

After the PM’s personal physician, Faisal Sultan suggested that Imran Khan should get tested for coronavirus, his samples have been collected and the test results are expected in a day.

In a video message, he said: "The test takes a few hours. We will release the report through official channels once it is received."

Faisal Edhi, leader of the biggest charity organisation in Pakistan, who had met Imran Khan a few days ago to make a donation of 10 million to the coronavirus fund, was recently tested positive for the virus, and that led the PM to get tested.

More than 10,000 people have been tested positive for coronavirus all over Pakistan, as of Wednesday and 212 have lost their lives.
