According to Samaa, the robbery occurred at Akram Sheikh’s farmhouse in Chak Shehzad. The family was locked in a room while the intruders searched the house.
Akram Sheikh was the head of the former prosecution team in the Musharraf treason case, which was denotified by the federal government in October.
Akram Sheikh had himself resigned in July before the denotification, citing the Musharraf treason case as a reason for threats to his personal safety and that of his family.
