PTI MNA Says Will Boycott NA Budget Session To Protest Centre’s Indifference Towards Sindh
Pakistan Teheek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA Abdul Shakoor Shad has said that he would boycott today’s budget session because Prime Minister Imran Khan denied his request seeking a special development package for the Lyari area of Karachi.
Geo News quoted the ruling party lawmaker as saying that he would not attend the budget session as a protest against the PM’s refusal. He added that the Sindh government announced a package for Lyari despite losing the election from the area.
He further said that the federal government is least interested in resolving the issues facing Karachi and the province.
The budget session will be held at 4PM at Parliament House in Islamabad.
