LHC Halts FBR Action Against Jahangir Tareen's Sugar Mills
The Lahore High Court (LHC) has asked the Federal Board of Revnue (FBR) to refrain from any disciplinary action against PTI leader Jahangir Khan Tareen's JDW Sugar Mills until the relevant case is decided. On Wednesday, Justice Shams Mehmood Mirza issued this directive while hearing a petition filed by JDW Mills in the wake of notices from the FBR. The lawyer for JDW prayed that the FBR had sent these notices illegally, and that they ought to be annulled “as they violate Article 10-A (of the Constitution).”

On the 8th of June, the LHC had reportedly stayed an audit by the FBR of JDW Mills. While hearing a petition by Jahangir Tareen against the FBR's audit notice; the court had also issued a restraining order to the FBR and sought a reply.
