PM Imran Reprimands Ambassadors Over Mistreatment Of Pakistani Nationals
Prime Minister Imran Khan lashed out at Pakistan's ambassadors serving in different countries over what he termed an 'indifferent attitude' by Pakistani embassies, especially in the Middle East. While addressing Pakistani ambassadors virtually, the PM said that what he has heard from Saudi Arabia shows that the embassy staff there is not working.

He further said that the staff at Kuwait's NADRA office take bribes instead of guiding Pakistani nationals. "I was shocked to hear this," Khan told the envoys.

Further, the PM said that these complaints were received through Pakistan's Citizen Portal and an inquiry is taking place.
"I called you today to let you know that you need to change this attitude," the PM said to the ambassadors. He also asked Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi to oversee the matter or have someone do it. "Your response has been dissatisfactory," the PM told the envoys.

The PM further said that gone are the days when Pakistan's ambassadors in the UK would meet higher authorities in the country and boast about it. He urged the ambassadors to work towards brining foreign direct investment in Pakistan.
