Nisar Barred From Taking Oath As Punjab Lawmaker, Says Will Speak Openly After 2 Days
Former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan came to the Punjab Assembly to take oath as MPA three years after his election. While Nisar could not take oath due to absence of speaker and deputy speaker, he addressed some of the speculations during his media talk. Nisar claimed that he was not part of any ‘political game’.
He told reporters that he decided to finally take the oath because of a recent political development.
He added that government was going to introduce an ordinance pertaining to disqualification of members despite the fact that the matter is already included in the Constitution of Pakistan.

The former minister further said that his stance has been the same since day one.
